I use to be a nurse, and was 6 weeks away from my Bachlores Degree when MS decided I would not walk anymore. Nursing was my life, if I didn't need the paycheck I would have worked fo free. I worked with alzheimers and my nursing carreer was the love of my life. I visit when I can, and I also played Gospel music every weekend and they always new the lyrics. They might not remember my name but I have cold hands and when I just touch their hand they say, "Where have you been?" I loved nursing with all my heart. But God has something else for me to do. All I can say is nursing was and is my life. I think when I was at the nursing home God was walking with me. I just Thank him for allowing me to be a nurse for 16 years. Other than having my 2 sons, and 6 Grandchildren Nursing was the happiest time of my life.
