Brett Eldredge will release his eagerly-awaited debut album August 6. The album will include his current Top 25 hit single, “Don’t Ya,” and his debut single “Raymond.” In addition,  Brett performed before a packed stadium this past Saturday at Detroit’s Ford Field when he opened for Taylor Swift on “The RED Tour.”

“There is no doubt in my mind or in my heart that Brett is a force of nature that one is lucky to bump into once in a lifetime,” said Warner Music Nashville President & CEO John Esposito. “From the first demo I heard, Brett’s powerful yet intimate voice stopped me in my tracks.

Digital Journal interviewed Brett via telephone about his latest single "Don't Ya" and being a part of Taylor Swift's "Red Tour." In regard to the tour, Brett exclaims, "It has been a great experience and exposure for me." Brett also discusses his debut single, "Raymond," which tells the story of a woman suffering from Alzheimers.

"I always wanted to write a song about how girls are very good at playing tricks on our minds," says Brett. "I'm pretty sure we probably play tricks on their minds too, but they're way better at it. It's just the little things, just the brucsh of their hair, that always gets us."
